Regional Area Integrated Family Support Service

This service provides counselling and support services to children, young people and their families who are vulnerable and are at risk of family break down and who require additional support and assistance with an emphasis on early intervention.

Services include:

• Family and individual support
• Generalist counselling for individuals, couples and children
• Groups
• Community development
• Integrated program support and development with local service providers
• Information, advocacy and referral

Centacare has a permanent office in Normanton and a visiting service to Cloncurry, Julia Creek and Richmond.

There are no fees associated with this program. This program is funded by Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs

Referral Process

There is no referral process for this program. Individuals are able to call the service and talk to a worker about how Centacare is able to assist.
